Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for students
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom behavior
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with children in an early educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and handle behavior issues
- Proficiency in math and other relevant subjects
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning processes
