Job Title: Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering L3Harris is seeking systems engineers in Rochester NY to work on a dynamic team to develop EO/IR solutions. They will have Systems Engineering responsibilities consisting of the synthesis, definition, analysis, development, integration & test of electro-optic systems for airborne and ground surveillance. Candidate will work closely with cross functional members in engineering, manufacturing, & program management to design, develop & build high performance systems. Design/develop system architectures, define key capabilities and performance requirements Define system implementation approach and operational concepts Ensure requirements are met and evaluate performance measures Perform system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessment, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability analyses Understand and implement systems engineering processes on programs and projects Create and update essential engineering documents including specifications, reports, plans, technical memos, and presentations Provide timely production support and problem resolution Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
