Data Center Technician – Short-Term Project (PDU IP Assignment)Project Duration: 4–5 Days Openings: 1-2 Technicians Environment: Mission Critical Data CenterOverviewOur mission-critical data center customer is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support a short-term project focused on Power Distribution Unit (PDU) configuration and IP address assignment. This role involves repetitive, detail-oriented work using a laptop to connect to PDUs and complete network configuration tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesConnect laptops to PDUs to assign and validate IP addressesPerform repetitive configuration tasks accurately and efficientlyFollow site procedures and change documentation standardsCommunicate progress and issues to the onsite lead or project managerMaintain a clean, organized, and secure work area within the data centerRequired Experience & SkillsPrior experience working in a data center or mission-critical environmentHands-on experience configuring or working with PDUs and IP addressingComfortable performing repetitive technical tasks with a high level of accuracyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow documented proceduresPersonal laptop required (laptop will not be provided)Additional RequirementsAbility to work onsite for the full project duration (4–5 days)Professional demeanor and ability to follow data center safety and security protocolsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
