Test Developer

OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Developer to join our remote engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated and manual testing frameworks to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications and systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in software testing, automation development, and quality assurance processes. This position requires analytical thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scriptsExecute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality, performance, and securityCollaborate with software developers, product managers, and QA teams to define testing requirementsIdentify, document, and track bugs and system issues using test management toolsDevelop test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new and existing applicationsIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deploymentPerform regression, integration, and performance testingAnalyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product qualityMaintain documentation for testing processes, tools, and frameworksRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in software testing or test developmentStrong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologiesExperience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills for remote collaborationMust be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)Preferred QualificationsExperience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsISTQB or other QA certificationsWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly compensationFully remote work environmentFlexible work scheduleProfessional development and certification supportCollaborative and innovation-driven cultureCareer growth and advancement opportunities.J-18808-Ljbffr
