Middle School Qualifications/Responsibilities:Implement the OpenSciEd curriculum with fidelity, utilizing its inquiry-based instructional modelDeliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction grounded in NGSS Facilitate student-driven investigations, discourse and hands-on learning experiences Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learnersCollaborate with grade-level and content teams to analyze data and strengthen instructional practices Maintain a structured, safe and inclusive classroom environment Communicatee effectively with students, families and colleaguesNJ Certification in Science (Middle School or appropriate grade level) Demonstrated experience implementing OpenSciEd or similar phenomenon-based science curriculum Strong understanding of NGSS and three-dimensional instruction and assessment Ability to integrate literacy and mathematical practices within science instruction Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience working in a middle school setting Experience supporting diverse learners, including multilingual learners and students with IEP's Familiarity with data-driven instructional practices Salary: REA Salary Guide Range BA: Step 1 $61,500.00- MA+30 Step 21 $104,807Health Benefits: Medical: Horizon BCBS - Educators or Garden State PlanDental Dental of NJVision Service PlanApplication Procedure:Apply Online; Include Letter of Interest, Resume, References and a Copy of required Certification(s)Selection Procedure:Qualified applicants will be contacted for any interview if credentials meet District standards/criteria.
