About the RoleWe are seeking Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our Emerging Tech team and drive cutting-edge innovation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and client delivery, where you will build and deploy high-impact solutions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.As an FDE, you will take full ownership of delivering solutions end-to-end—from architecture and development to testing and deployment—while working closely with stakeholders to rapidly bring ideas to life.This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who thrive in hands-on, high-ownership roles and enjoy solving complex problems with modern technologies, including AI-driven systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deploy full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on backend systemsDevelop scalable services and APIs using Java and cloud-native architectures on GCPBuild and integrate AI-powered solutions leveraging Vertex AI and agentic AI frameworksOwn the entire software development lifecycle including development, testing (QA), deployment, and production supportCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to rapidly prototype and deliver solutionsOperate in forward-deployed environments, working closely with end users or clients to refine and iterate solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, ensuring high-quality delivery under tight timelines Required QualificationsStrong full-stack development experience with a backend-heavy focusProficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience building or integrating solutions using Vertex AI and/or agentic AI systemsProven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions independently (development, QA, deployment)Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal guidanceStrong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly ramp up on new technologiesNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Capacitor or other cross-platform/mobile development frameworksFamiliarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
