Semiconductor Fab TechnicianPGS Worldwide is seeking a Semiconductor Fab Technician in Manhattan Beach, CA for a contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position supports a semiconductor fabrication environment, operating and maintaining processing equipment while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role involves working in a cleanroom setting and collaborating with engineers and technicians to support production and process improvements.Required SkillsHigh school diploma or GEDComputer and communication skills, including Microsoft OfficeU.S. Citizenship requiredAbility to work in a cleanroom environment (gowning required) and handle small, delicate componentsStrong communication skills and team-oriented mindsetAbility to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work various shifts including nights or weekendsPreferred SkillsExperience in a FOD-controlled lab environmentFamiliarity with shop order systems or manufacturing execution systems (MES)Associate degree or technical training in Electronics or a related fieldExperience with semiconductor tools, including wet and dry processesExposure to low-volume, high-mix R&D or prototyping environmentsBasic understanding of semiconductor process flows (front-end and back-end fabrication)What You'll DoOperate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor processing equipment such as photolithography, etch, deposition, metrology, and packaging toolsLoad and unload wafers while ensuring proper handling and documentationPerform routine equipment startups, shutdowns, and calibrationsTroubleshoot and assist in resolving process deviations and equipment issuesFollow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety protocolsAccurately record data and maintain production logs and reportsCollaborate with engineers and technicians to support process improvement initiativesMaintain cleanliness and safety standards within a cleanroom environmentWork Schedule / Shift1st Shift (MondayThursday, 4:00 AM3:00 PM)2nd Shift (MondayThursday, 2:30 PM1:30 AM)Weekend Shift (FridaySunday, 4:00 AM3:00 PM)
