Role SALESFORCE DEVELOPERDuration 12+monthsLocation: Houston, TXVisa - H4, L2, GC, USC(Only)HYBRID ROLE What You’ll DoDesign and build dynamic Admissions Application forms using Omni Scripts and Lightning Web Components, aligned with institutional branding and mobile-first UX principles.Implement backend logic using APEX classes, triggers, and REST APIs for validation, automation, and integration.Build and maintain Flow-based automation (Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows) to support routing, notifications, and tailored user experiences.Integrate Salesforce applications with external systems (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, SFTP, SharePoint, AWS) through Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, and custom Apex services.Implement Save-for-Later functionality with secure session management and multi-step logic for admissions applications.Configure and manage Experience Cloud access, guest user profiles, and visibility rules to ensure compliance with security standards.Partner with product owners and UX teams to define form logic, user journeys, and support edge cases such as international and returning applicants.Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and contribute to DevOps pipelines (e.g., Copado).Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and participate in QA/UAT cycles with a strong focus on performance and scalability.What You’ll Bring10 years of Salesforce development and architecture experience, with significant expertise in Omni Studio.Strong proficiency in APEX, Lightning Web Components, REST APIs, and Salesforce Flows.Proven track record of integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems in complex environments.Hands-on experience with Experience Cloud configuration and security.Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Copado for deployment and release management.Excellent collaboration skills with product owners, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders.Prior experience working in higher education is required.Bonus Points ForExperience designing scalable solutions for admissions or student lifecycle management.Background in building user-centric applications that balance usability with compliance and security requirements.
