This pivotal role involves overseeing a 15,000 sq. ft. kitchen that will serve multiple restaurant locations and support wholesale food production. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team, including production chefs, prep teams, packaging staff, and logistics personnel, and will be tasked with developing and implementing systems to ensure food consistency, quality, and operational scalability. A key aspect of the role is to manage food and labor costs, and production efficiency, and to coordinate procurement, supply chain, and inventory management. Applicants for the Head of Production / Corporate Chef position at the company should have a strong background in high-volume food production environments, with experience in overseeing centralized production kitchens or commissary operations. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing large culinary teams, a deep understanding of food cost control, and experience in implementing recipe standardization and batch production systems. While not mandatory, experience in Asian or Chinese cuisine production, food manufacturing, and supporting multi-unit restaurant operations is preferred.
