Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Memphis, TN Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,447 to $1,647 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Memphis, TN. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining ventilatory equipment, performing arterial punctures, suctioning, tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy, pulmonary function studies, 12-lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, and assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube care. You will provide patient and family education, document treatments and responses, and communicate effectively with the care team. Minimum Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science. Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Minimum one year experience as an RRT. BLS certification required. Experience operating and managing mechanical ventilators and various oxygen and aerosol delivery systems. Experience with arterial blood gas collection and interpretation. Ability to perform suctioning, tracheostomy care, and endotracheal tube insertion/removal per policy. Willingness to float within the local market. Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification preferred. Experience in hospital settings performing bronchoscopy assistance, chest tube management, and cardiopulmonary monitoring preferred.
