The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, employment law, and talent management, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs. This role demands a proactive leader committed to fostering a safe, compliant, and productive work environment while aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. The Sr HR Manager, Safety will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, ensuring safety compliance and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across all operational levels.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that comply with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.Lead investigations into workplace incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.Manage workers' compensation claims process, coordinating with insurance providers and internal teams to minimize costs and ensure employee well-being.Provide expert guidance on employment law, labor regulations, and contractual obligations related to safety policies.Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to recruit safety specialists and conduct employee orientation focused on safety protocols.Design organization structures that promote safety awareness, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.Conduct training sessions on OSHA standards, hazard recognition, conflict management, and emergency response procedures.Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection, analysis, reporting, and compliance tracking related to safety metrics.ExperienceExtensive experience in human resources management with a focus on safety programs within industrial or corporate environments.Bilingual, Spanish speaking a must.Demonstrated supervisory experience leading diverse teams in safety or HR functions at senior levels.Proven track record of managing complex projects involving process improvement, change management, and program development.Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, workers' compensation policies, benefits administration, and HR sourcing strategies.Proficiency in HRIS platforms including Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, Paychex, Kronos or equivalent systems such as Dayforce or Paylocity.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to senior leadership and influence organizational change.Familiarity with OSHA standards, risk assessment methodologies, incident reporting procedures, and compliance auditing processes.
