The Role
LTSE is seeking a strategic and execution‑oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial strategy while also serving as a key driver of enterprise‑wide operational performance.
This is not a traditional, accounting‑only CFO role. We are looking for a leader who has deep experience overseeing financial strategy and guiding strategic operations, either directly leading operations teams or serving in a structure where Operations reported into Finance.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of capital strategy, fundraising leadership, sophisticated FP&A capabilities, and enterprise execution rigor. This person will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to translate strategy into measurable outcomes, ensure capital is deployed effectively, and build the operational cadence required to scale.
Leadership Responsibilities
Represent Finance and Operations at the Executive team and Board level
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO in enterprise planning and value creation
Oversee and develop leaders across Finance and Operations functions
Represent LTSE with current and prospective investors, regulators, and key stakeholders
Act as enterprise DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for operationalizing strategic initiatives
Provide guidance and direction for other functions as defined by the CEO
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & FP&A
Lead enterprise‑wide financial planning, forecasting, and long‑range modeling
Ensure executive‑level clarity around resource allocation, burn rate, revenue trajectory, and profitability path
Elevate sophistication of modeling, scenario planning, and decision‑support capabilities
Provide concise financial insights to guide enterprise strategy
Lead preparation and execution of fundraising and capital strategy initiatives
Own investor‑ready financial narrative, projections, and diligence materials
Serve as primary financial interface with investors and Board
Ensure finance infrastructure meets institutional investor standards
Accounting, Controls & Governance
Oversee all accounting, reporting, audit, treasury, and compliance functions
Ensure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance in a highly governed environment
Maintain Board‑level confidence in financial integrity and risk management
II. Enterprise & Operations Execution
Strategy Operationalization
Translate enterprise strategy into actionable operational plans
Establish and drive company‑wide KPIs and accountability structures
Lead annual operating planning and performance management cadence
Operational Excellence & Performance
Oversee cross‑functional operations to ensure alignment with enterprise goals
Improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability
Identify and remove enterprise‑level roadblocks impacting execution
Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks across the enterprise
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed to minimize business risk
Oversee integrated Board narrative, materials, and execution support
III. Enterprise Performance & Value Creation
Drive revenue growth while managing burn rate and capital efficiency
Support advancement toward profitability goals
Ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively and on timeline
Foster a performance‑driven culture across all teams
Performance Outcomes

Revenue growth, disciplined burn rate, and measurable advancement toward profitability
Successful execution of strategic initiatives that advance enterprise value
No major audit, regulatory, compliance, or operational breakdowns
Strong Board and investor confidence in financial and operational leadership
Required Skills & Abilities
Deep experience as a CFO with ownership of FP&A, fundraising, GAAP/non‑GAAP reporting, and capital strategy
Demonstrated experience leading operations or having Operations report into Finance
Proven ability to scale organizations and operationalize enterprise strategy
Strong financial and operational data fluency; ability to translate insights into execution
Exceptional executive communication and Board presentation skills
High integrity and experience operating in regulated or high‑compliance environments
Educational & Experience
15+ years of experience in a demonstrated, executive leadership capacity
Experience serving as a CFO in a high‑growth, venture‑backed organization
Prior experience overseeing Operations, or serving in a combined CFO/COO or enterprise integrator role
Experience in financial services, exchanges, fintech, or regulated industries strongly preferred
CPA strongly preferred
