This candidate ensures the overall quality of our manufactured products, throughout the product life cycle from development to new product manufacturing release and ongoing quality assurance.What you'll do:Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processesLead audits of manufacturing processes to identify improvement areas to prevent quality issuesLead root cause analysis investigations and implement preventive and corrective actions to address quality issuesAnalyze and interpret quality data (defect rates, customer feedback, returns) to identify trends and develop plans for improvementParticipate in new product introduction including development of control plans, PFMEA, and determine process capabilities.Collect, analyze and monitor manufacturing data to evaluate current process and focus areasDevelop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirementsDrive continuous improvement on quality standards, manufacturing requirements and best practicesCommunicate issues and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teamsWhat you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.Knowledge and work experience leading root cause analysis, such as Six Sigma or 8D5+ years' experience in electronic manufacturing quality engineering or similar job functionProficient in statistical analysis and data interpretationProficient in quality management software and SPC reporting toolsStrong critical thinking and troubleshooting skillsEffective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Familiar with lean principles
