Role ExistsColinear Aerospace continues to
expand its aerospace machining capabilities and requires a
Manufacturing Engineer who can act as
thetechnical bridge between engineering and
production .This role exists to improve how
parts are made — reducing cycle time, improving yield, supporting
new programs, and ensuring machining processes meet the strict
requirements of AS9100 aerospace
manufacturing.This is
ahands-on, shop-floor-facing role , not a
desk-only engineering
position.---The Work
You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you
will:Develop, document, and maintain
manufacturing methods, routers, and process
documentationCreate, optimize, and support
CNC programs for3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and
lathesTroubleshoot machining and process
issues directly on the production
floorSupport estimating and quoting through
DFM analysis, manufacturing methods, and BOM
inputCollaborate with machinists,
programmers, quality, and leadership to improve efficiency and part
qualityDrive continuous improvement
initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and
repeatabilityYou’ll have real ownership over
how aerospace components move from print to

ForRequired:Bachelor’s
degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering
field5–7+ years of experience in aerospace or
high-precision machining environmentsStrong
hands-on knowledge of CNC mills and lathes, multi-axis machining,
and toolingProficiency reading complex
blueprints and applying GD&TExperience
with CAD (SolidWorks), CAM (ESPRIT or similar), and ERP systems
(JobBOSS preferred)Strong understanding of
AS9100 requirements and documentationProven
ability to troubleshoot machining processes and support
productionExcellent problem-solving,
communication, and organizational
skillsPreferred (Not
Required):Prior CNC programming
backgroundExperience with SMED, lean
manufacturing, or automation
