This internship will work 32 hours per week, beginning in early June and run 8 weeks through early August. The Intern will work onsite at our corporate headquarters in West Des Moines, IA.This application will close on March 27th, 2026.Position Description:The Award Services AI Specialist Internship is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting award program storefronts and engagement solutions for leading clients. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail oriented, a quick learner and eager to collaborate. A focus will be utilizing AI knowledge and experience to build new department AI agents and AI-assisted process improvements. The role will document and share AI-assisted enhancements with the department. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting live client programs while exploring practical applications of AI in operational environments.Support award program storefront administration, including content updates and basic configuration tasks.Assist with participant engagement initiatives, invoicing support and award fulfillment activities.Use data and AI enabled tools to enhance operations, reporting, analysis and issue resolution.Follow established Award Services best practices, processes, and quality standards.Collaborate with program teams to support timely, accurate and high quality program execution.Position Requirements:Entering your senior year or recently graduated, majoring in Marketing, Management, Communications, Business, or a related field with a strong interest and proficiency in AI and automation tools.Demonstrate strong communication skills and effective task management.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.Proactive mindset with the ability to think and act independently.Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills.Complete defined tasks and projects within assigned timelines while adapting to changing priorities.
