Desktop Support Engineer
Job Summary - Desktop Support Engineer (Indianapolis, IN)- Provide 100% on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and MacOS operating systems.- Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).- Manage user accounts, email, and permissions via Active Directory and Microsoft 365.- Support enterprise applications, including Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, etc.- Assist with IT asset management, including inventory and procurement tasks.- Coordinate with vendors/service providers for hardware repairs and replacements.- Update and patch software to ensure cybersecurity best practices.- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.- Use ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for issue tracking and resolution.- Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
