A fast-growing, innovative organization at the forefront of decentralized finance (DeFi) is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in public company environments. This executive will lead the finance function through strategic growth initiatives, capital markets activity, and evolving regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in financial leadership, hands‑on investor relations, and capital structure optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Finance Leadership: Lead all financial functions, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, audit, compliance, and risk management. Partner with the executive team on strategic planning, M&A, and operational scaling.
Public Company Readiness & Compliance: Ensure financial systems, controls, and reporting meet public company standards. Oversee regulatory filings, audit preparation, and financial disclosures.
Investor Relations: Serve as the primary liaison to the investment community. Craft and deliver financial messaging for quarterly earnings, investor presentations, and roadshows. Build relationships with analysts, shareholders, and potential investors.
Capital Markets & Fundraising: Drive capital strategy, including equity/debt financing and liquidity planning. Provide guidance on valuation, capitalization, and investor expectations.
Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and scale a high‑performing finance team aligned with the company’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
15+ years of progressive financial leadership, including experience as CFO or senior finance executive in a publicly traded company
Hands‑on experience leading investor relations, including earnings calls, analyst relations, and SEC filings
Deep understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and corporate governance
Track record of preparing and guiding companies through IPOs, SPACs, or uplistings is highly desirable
Prior exposure to fintech, digital assets, blockchain, or DeFi is a plus
CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
