Java Scala developer (Banking Experience Is Must)

Overview In this role you join a 35–40 person software development team in NYC, focusing on building and maintaining our core technology platform used by cross-functional teams. You will own requirements, design, implementation, testing and support across projects of varying scopes. Core tech includes Scala, RDF, REST and DB2, with opportunities to work in Python, BigData, and Apache libraries. The team operates like a tech startup within a large financial institution, offering a potential long-term contract extension or conversion. You will work on impactful, scalable, reusable code in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
