Concrete SuperintendentPositionSummaryWe are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead and manage field operations across one or multiple projects. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality concrete construction through strong leadership, detailed planning, clear communication, and disciplined execution.The Concrete Superintendent serves as the primary field leader, overseeing crews, coordinating resources, maintaining schedules, and ensuring accountability at every level of the project. This individual plays a critical role in developing Foremen and crews while creating organized, productive jobsites that consistently deliver successful outcomes.The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of leading teams in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership& Team ManagementLead Foremen and field crews through consistent communication, visibility, accountability, and exampleEstablish and maintain a culture focused on safety, professionalism, teamwork, and performanceManage multiple crews, phases of work, and jobsite activities simultaneouslyHold Foremen accountable for planning, production, safety, quality, reporting, and communicationTrain, mentor, and develop Foremen and crew members to strengthen leadership within the organizationPlanning & SchedulingOwn and manage short-term project planning, including daily plans, weekly work plans, and three-week look-ahead schedulesEnsure work is properly planned before execution and proactively remove obstacles impacting productionCoordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors to support project successBuild, maintain, and adjust field schedules to protect milestones and critical path activitiesAnticipate project risks and communicate issues early to prevent delays or disruptionsField Operations & ExecutionOversee concrete operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specificationsMonitor productivity and labor performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiencyReduce downtime, eliminate unnecessary rework, and maintain organized jobsite operationsEnsure crews have the information, tools, materials, and support needed to execute the work successfullySupport accurate field reporting, documentation, and communication with Project Managers and leadershipQuality & SafetyEnforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with all jobsite safety requirementsMaintain high-quality workmanship and ensure all work meets contract documents, specifications, and company standardsIdentify and resolve quality concerns early before they impact schedule or costPromote clean, organized, and professional jobsitesQualificationsProven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar construction leadership roleStrong knowledge of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and field operationsAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedulesDemonstrated leadership experience managing multiple crews and complex projectsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with project planning, scheduling, productivity tracking, and coordinationAbility to lead teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detailValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
