This position focuses on commercial and industrial refrigeration service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple sites throughout the Brampton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Barrie, Hamilton and Niagara area.Responsibilities:Strong diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair refrigeration equipment and rooftop unitsPerform preventative maintenance and inspectionsAbility to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprintsExperience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems (ie. racks walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units, chillers, etc.)Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitudeExcellent communication and customer service skillsEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards and legislationOther duties as assignedQualifications:Licenced 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic or ApprenticeMinimum 2 - 5 years of commercial Refrigeration/HVAC experienceStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExperience with gas heating, refrigeration systems, and airflow principlesAbility to work independently and manage service callsValid driver's license with a clean abstractODP certification requiredCompensation & Incentives:Competitive hourly wagePerformance incentivesOvertime opportunitiesOn-call premiumsHealth, vision and dental benefits packageCompany Retirement Savings Plan (RSP)Four (4) weeks vacation at hireAdditional Perks:Company vehicle (assigned to employee and can be stored at your residence)Company supplied cell phoneCompany supplied clothing and toolsOngoing training provided (both in house and off site)Steady, year-round commercial work
