This position plays a key role in improving existing manufacturing processes, integrating automation, and supporting daily operations through machining process development, new equipment setup and troubleshooting.What You’ll DoCNC Programming: Create CNC programs for mills (vertical, horizontal and 5 axis) and lathes for new parts and improve the machining strategy for existing partsIntegrate Machinery: Incorporate new machinery and equipment into the production process seamlesslySetup & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on setup and resolve issues with manufacturing and automation equipmentFixture Design: Create fixtures for CNC machining and CMM inspectionDrive Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to manufacturing methods, equipment, and operating procedures, with a focus on CNC machining and automationContinuous Improvement: Support team leaders and members in evaluating and implementing ongoing improvement projectsWhat You BringTechnical Skills:CNC programming experience, ideally with MastercamExperience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorksProficiency in reading and understanding drawings and schematicsFamiliarity with controls, industrial robotics, conveyor systems, and PLC programming is valuedExperience:3+ years of CNC machining and programming experienceMinimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environmentAt least 3 years of manual machining experienceEDM expertise (a highly valued plus)5-axis CNC machining expertise (a plus)To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).Precision Resource is an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V.
