Title: Environment & Infrastructure Engineer (VB.NET / C++ / IaC)Location: Koblenz, Germany (80–90% Remote / Hybrid)Contract Period: 01 Nov 2026 – 01 Jul 2027Employment Type: Freelance / Subcontracted ContractLanguages: Fluent German (Mandatory)Digisourced is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.About the Role:We are recruiting an Environment & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the setup, provisioning, and automation of complex test environments supporting a large-scale legacy migration program in the healthcare IT domain.Key Responsibilities:Design, provision, and maintain stable test and reference environments, including interface simulators for external healthcare systems.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines to automate server, container, and database component deployments for QA teams.Manage synthetic test data profiles across a 4-tier quality assurance framework (including CI/CD SonarQube quality gates).Support technical decoupling, code translation from VBScript to VB.NET, and resolution of C++/COM host interface issues.Ensure strict GDPR compliance and security controls across all test networks and instances.Requirements:Strong technical background across VB.NET, VBScript, C++, COM, and ANTLR frameworks.Practical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and SonarQube integration.Experience maintaining Windows environments, CLI tools, and automated test harnesses.Residence in Germany with fluent spoken and written German.If you are interested, or you know someone that could be, please reach out and we can speak soon?
