We hope you'll consider joining us.Job Description:Appointment Date: September - MaySiena College’s Head Coach for Women’s Club Soccer should understand and exemplify Siena College's mission statement and Franciscan values.Responsibilities Include:Supervising the organization of a participatory club level soccer programMentoring student athlete's placing a higher focus on academicsEvaluating the student athletes’ strengths and weaknesses and providingconstructive feedback for improvementBeing present at all student practices and competitionsFollowing the College's expectations, rules, and policies to maintain complianceFollowing the College's health and safety guidelines for injuries and injury preventionFostering open communication with the team for their individual growth as a studentand as an athleteAnnual Salary: $ 3,500.00 – September to MayThe hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.Requirements:Bachelor's degree requiredA deep knowledge and love of the gameStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgroundsThe ability to coach students effectively in practices and gamesCandidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employmentPreferred qualifications:Experience with coaching at any levelExperience with recruiting, scheduling, and academic supportA background screening will be required.Additional Information:Part-time position throughout the academic yearSiena cares for and values each member of its workforce and actively supports upward mobility.
