Rental Assistance Data Assistant

Position Summary: Under the guidance and direction of the Director ofRental Assistance, the Rental Assistance Data Systems Assistant will beresponsible for assisting with the departmental data management systemsand software related to the administration of the Rental Assistanceprograms. These functions will include but are not limited to: assistingin maintaining owner and tenant databases, extracting and analyzing datafrom system reports, and supporting the Rental Assistance Data SystemsManager with monthly payment processing functions. Th Rental AssistanceData Systems Assistant will assist and support staff with anysoftware-related issues, including training new staff or as directed,along with ensuring compliance with funders\' expectations on softwarerelated issues. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: \~ Assist andsupport the Rental Assistance Data Systems Manager and overall RentalAssistance staff with changes to software for all rental assistanceprograms and prescribed by funding source and RCAP Solutions\' internalsystems. \~ Assist with the maintenance of tenant and landlord databasesto ensure data integrity. \~ Produce monthly reports on programactivities and distribute them to appropriate parties, as needed. \~Assist the Rental Assistance Data Systems Manager in the preparations ofmonthly leasing and program expenditures reports, along with paymentprocessing functions. \~ Communicate with owners by phone or email onpayment inquiries and/or correct payment deficiencies and make necessarycorrections, as necessary. \~ Support staff with any software-relatedissues, for current and future software development. \~ Attend allrequired training and meetings related to new and existing software, asrequested by funding source and/or the organization. \~ Assist with thesubmission of PIC (Personal Information Controller) data, as required.Support with data clean up, and integration, as necessary and directedby the Rental Assistance Director. \~ Support the Rental Assistance teamwith production of program reports and development of new reports asneeded. \~ Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of RentalAssistance. Education and Experience Requirements: \~ Associate\'sdegree or equivalent education, with a minimum of two years ofexperience working with a variety of software databases. \~ Knowledgeand experience working with a variety of different software, with theability to be able to create and analyze data and reports. \~ Must beproficient with Word, Excel, OneDrive, database systems, and onlinesearch engines. \~ Excellent written and verbal communication skillsrequired. \~ Bi-lingual communication skills preferred, but notrequired. \~ Ability to train and present materials that areunderstandable for internal and external staff and stakeholders. \~Ability to work independently and in a team setting. \~ Valid driver\'slicense. Working Conditions: \~ Typical office setting at RCAPSolutions\' corporate office, with the ability to spend extended periodsof time sitting and using office equipment. \~ Move regularly fromsitting to standing position, along with frequently bending to file andmaintain files. \~ Ability to work on repetitive tasks and use finemotor skills to handle and control objects. \~ Ability to use earpiecesor headphones.
