Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Sensors Team supporting the development and enhancement of sensor architectures for autonomous systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, collaborative spirit, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title:Sensor Systems EngineerLocation:Foster City, CAPay Range:$88/hour + BenefitsWhat's the Job?Identify, define, and analyze bounding use cases and challenging scenarios for autonomous driving systems. Develop and document system requirements for the autonomy sensor suite, including cameras, radar, and lidar. Perform trade studies and analysis to evaluate different system architectures and sensor configurations against known requirements. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure system design meets documented requirements. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and present findings to diverse audiences.What's Needed?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or a similar role within autonomous vehicle, aerospace, or robotics industries. Proven experience in defining and analyzing complex systems and scenarios. Strong understanding of sensor technologies, including cameras, radar, and lidar.
