Bartender

Position Summary:• Bartenders are assigned to work primarily in designated "Primary bar venue(s)" and can also be scheduled to support the beverage operation in "Assistance bar venue(s)".• Bartenders actively engage with guests and crew to suggest, prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in their assigned venue by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.Hiring Requirements:• Minimum 4-5 years beverage-related experience (shipboard experience preferred) or equivalent.• Completion of high school or equivalent education required.• Ability to analyze and interpret recipes and manuals.• Proficiency in calculating figures, proportions, and percentages.• Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions• Working knowledge of inventory control methods and standards.Language Requirements:• Ability to speak and read English - analyze and interpret procedure manuals and memos, technical procedures or governmental regulations.• Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, etc.
