Java Technical Lead

Role Purpose: Partner closely with the Domain Architect and Business Partners to design, implement, and lead the technical vision for the Controls IQ Platform. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the architecture becomes reality. Core Responsibilities :Lead the design of the control suite and partner with the Domain Architect on architecture decisions .Act as a hands-on technical lead, implementing solutions and helping developers execute the vision .Design and implement Proof of Concepts to validate the Architecture guidelines and governanc eReview code and mentor less experienced developers .Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation .Provide architectural and technical guidance for remediation agents, continuous testing suites, and automated control frameworks Required Skills & Experienc e:Technical Proficienc y: Strong hands-on expertise i n Ja va and Pyth o n.Cloud/Architectur e: Expertise i n AWS Servic es (specifically AWS Bedrock and AWS Step Functions )Agentic/Automatio n: Deep knowledge of agentic AI, remediation bots, and automated control framework s.Data/Securit y: Strong understanding of data lineage, data sources/databases (NoSQL), and risk/governance/compliance frameworks (e.g. CMMI Tool s: Proficiency wit h GitH ub, Ji ra, an d X-r ay for test managemen t.Soft Skill s: Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving program, provide course correction, and act as a solution provider rather than just an order-taker.
