ALH operates state-of-the-art facilities and programs to meet the evolving needs of clinical research and overall patient treatment.Job Summary:Arizona Liver Health/Arizona Clinical Trials is looking for qualified candidates for the Research Pharmacy Technician position in Peoria.Title: Research Pharmacy Technician (Peoria, AZ)Compensation: $23 - $27 per hour, depending on experienceWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00a - 4:00p (set schedule)Key Responsibilities:Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of investigational products prescriptionsReviewing and recording patient information with their medication in compliance with the guidelines of the protocolStocking the pharmacy with inventoryProviding instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicineSupporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacyProtecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policiesDisbursing completed and confirmed meds to patientsAnswering incoming calls and fielding patient questionsMaintaining a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with regulations, rules and proceduresMaintain accountability logs Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Certified Pharmacy TechnicianAt least one (1) year experience working as a pharmacy tech at a private practice, hospital, or pharmacy settingAdhere to IRB approved protocolsUnderstand good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory complianceComply with institutional policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelinesKnowledge of basic medical terminologyAvailability to work weekends as neededEffective communication, excellent attention to detail, strong information and time management, and administrative/computer skillsBilingual (Spanish-Speaking) preferred Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution requiredAssociate degree or active Pharmacy Tech license preferredMinimum(1) year experience working in a clinical research setting preferred Benefits & Perks:Accrued up to 40 hours of sick time per yearShared company vehicles for required travel Travel Requirements:Some inter-office travel may be required as needed with the use of a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
