ARB MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY: The Architectural Review Board Manager is responsible for consistently providing outstanding customer service and serving as a point person for each part of the design review process. More specific, the ARB Manager educates Owners and contractors on the Design Guidelines and Association submittal process, prepares and processes applications for the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) Meetings, and creates and sends approved/not approved letters for all submittals and inspections. The ARB Manager documents accurate records of homeowner communication and submittals in paper and electronic systems. The ARB Manager works with Owners and Contractors to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications during the project build process and handles all close-out activities at completion of the build process.

Ensures adherence to association policies and procedures, and compliance with corporate, civil code, and state and federal obligations.
Follow the proper design review procedures as outlined in the Association's Governing Documents, department's procedures, and as otherwise directed.
Interact with Homeowners regarding Design Guidelines, exterior home and landscape modification inquiries, application results, and the design review processes.
Interact with Contractors regarding the construction process, community rules and regulations, site inspections and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with fellow Associates.
Sustain a positive and professional relationship with ARC members, consultants, residents, and contractors.
Maintain accurate and complete records; document, track, and update design review requests and correspondence in the Association shared drive.
Be able to easily recall and communicate design review requests and the homeowner's application details with the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) members and other Associates.
Conduct follow-up on application status or other items as needed.
Ensures all design review plan submittals for new custom and merchant homes, as well as existing properties are processed within the legal timeframe.
Schedule and/or coordinate ARC meeting dates with homeowners, vendors, and the ARC in a timely manner, as needed.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 years' experience in an office environment
2 years experience in construction related fields preferred
2 years customer service experience preferred

Proficient in English; other languages are a plus.
Demonstrates awareness of variables which could affect associate retention and/or morale.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level; including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. CADD experience and Blue Beam are a plus.

Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with homeowners, guests, supervisors, associates, and vendors. Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person in order to resolve issues related to the business.
Must be mobile enough to move around the office and during outside events; including walking on uneven surfaces and standing for long periods of time.
Ability to work with inside and outside environmental elements (noise, weather, etc.).
