Role Overview: Support the efficient operation of automated distribution equipment in a fully automated center, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, and performing preventive maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Systems Manager in maintaining automation systems and equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical components, including motors, PLCs, sensors, and drives up to 600 volts.Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic; load and configure PLCs, HMIs, and scanners.Test and maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and water systems.Install and set up computer hardware and software, including MHE and control system programs.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Perform routine preventive maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.Diagnose errors in materials handling and automated picking systems, and execute repairs or modifications to improve efficiency.Maintain records of repairs and system status in CMMS/EAM systems.Willingness to work extended hours to meet productivity goals and perform related tasks as assigned.Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED; technical training or related experience preferred.1-2 years of experience, with a strong electrical background.Proficiency in reading electrical and CAD diagrams, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, and control software; familiarity with electrical systems up to 600V.Computer hardware and MS Office skills; experience with MHE software such as RSLogix and Sort Director.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Additional Information: We offer competitive pay, benefits supporting wellness and personal growth, and a commitment to equal employment opportunity.
