Claims & Deductions Analyst
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Claims/Deductions Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and processing claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of various aspects of claims management relating to customer deductions and promotional claims. The Claims/Deductions Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and brokers to facilitate smooth claims processing.Essential functions: Investigate deductions to determine the reason for the chargeback, including reviewing purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts and promotions.Determine whether deductions are valid based on policy.Communicate with brokers to dispute invalid deductions providing supporting documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as the brokers, sales, and credit to gather information, resolve disputes, and identify potential issues.Create chargeback when claims are not valid and settle claims when appropriate. Obtain support through customer portals. Research new sales claims, working with brokers when assistance is needed. Research traffic claims by obtaining proof of deliveries, reviewing over, short, or damage claims. Review routing and vendor guide requirements for fines.Research and enter broker bill-back payouts by working with sales and marketing to obtain the required approvals. QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred and/or prior Accounts Receivable or Deductions experiencePrior ERP experience (Oracle preferred)Experience in the CPG industry preferred Experience working in customer portals (Walmart, Amazon, Albertsons, etc) preferred
