Solar Bears Ticket Sales Account Executive

What the Solar Bears Ticket Sales Account Executive will be responsible for:Proactively solicit and generate new business to maximize season/group ticket sales revenueDevelop and maintain a thorough awareness of ticket packagesEstablish and maintain business relationships by focusing on the needs of our existing client base and prospectsMake a required minimum of 70 outbound sales calls each day with the goal of maximizing all ticket sales revenueWork game nights and community events for purpose of maximizing sales opportunities. (ie. Tabling and attending networking events)Build and maintain our customer database and actively track touchpointsMake use of database, referrals, and other sources to conduct aggressive outreach and increase ticket sales and prospects databaseActively participate in department activities and meetings working selflessly towards achieving common goalsInteract with other departments to provide a cooperative, customer-oriented focus for all operationsProvide creative input and assertive follow-through to efforts that enhance customer satisfactionWork closely with other Sales groups, Corporate Partnership, Marketing and CommunicationsDevelop prospects by calling on self-generated leads and provided listsSupport all organization sales teams in their efforts to sell inventory through sales calls and involvement in negotiations, when appropriateAnticipate the needs of key clients and provide service opportunities to secure partnerships with the Orlando Solar Bears for years to come.All other duties as assigned.What the Solar Bears Ticket Sales Account Executive needs to have:Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience required.Ticketmaster experience strongly preferred.Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.What We Offer YouCompetitive salaryStaff tickets to Orlando Solar Bears home games18 days of personal time off per year + 12 holidays (that is 30 paid days off year!)Fantastic benefits that include: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matchingCompany sponsored events & outingsReduced summer work hoursCulture built on Community, Innovation, Legendary and Teamwork!Physical RequirementsNone.The Orlando Magic are not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
