Job DescriptionThe Public Area Attendant is responsible to keep all areas of the property clean and clear of debris. They create the firstst and lasting impression for our guests when entering and leaving our property.ResponsibilitiesMaintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shiftFollows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediatelyCleans all slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, and offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino, office, or common areas. Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur. Clean any biohazardous materials when it occurs. Remove trash from the trash container and place it into dumpsters.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentPrior professional cleaning experience preferredAbility to push and pull up to 25 poundsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 25 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitivelySafely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipmentAscend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended periodMust be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periodAbility to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
