Dietary Assistant, Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide We live out our mission every day by delivering personalized care in our facility where residents’ comfort and quality of life always come first. We are currently seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our facility in Ada, OH.The primary purpose of the position is to assist the cook in the preparation of food in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Food Service Director to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. The job responsibilities include: Inspecting special diet trays to assure they are correct. Performing administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the Director of Food Services. Coordinating dietary service with other departments as necessary. Assuring that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Assisting in establishing food service production line, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time. Performing dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assuring that utensils, etc., are readly available for next meal. Assisting in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary. Interacting with residents in a positive and professional manner, and where necessary, suggest/implement problem resolution solutions.
