Project Engineer
Overview
As Project Engineer at Ecolab’s Philadelphia plant, you will lead capital projects, process improvements, equipment installations, and manufacturing optimization. You’ll work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external vendors to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget outcomes that meet quality standards. You’ll shape projects from concept to commissioning, driving efficiency and reliability at scale. This role offers meaningful impact through Lean initiatives and technology upgrades.
ResponsibilitiesManage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handoverDevelop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk assessmentsCoordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturersEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliabilityImplement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesLead root cause analyses and corrective actionsLead equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification activitiesSupport automation, controls, and technology upgrades
