Warehouse Associate 2 (Furniture Assembly)

Position Summary The Warehouse Associate 2 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Support warehouse operations throughout the warehouse.Use basic hand tools such as drills, and screw driversUnload trailers by handMove furniture with dollies and pallet jacksEnsure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor's vehicle for deliveryEnsure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flawsPrepare customers' orders monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembledUse proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bendingUse RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.Open, Assemble, and de-trash productPerform quality control inspectionsMust be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standardsMaintain a clean and organized workspaceMeet company standards for productivityAble to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAble to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changesQualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2+) years experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Computer Skills: Not RequiredCertificates and Licenses: None RequiredSupervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.Compensation: $16.70 - $21.70Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
