Job Details:Job Title: Digital eCommerce Product OwnerLocation: Portland, OR (Onsite)Duration: 4+ monthsType: Full-Time, ContractDescription:A luxury tile and stone brand (part of a larger home products company) is looking to improve its website and digital tools to make online shopping easier for designers, homeowners, and trade professionals.This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day work on the company’s website and behind-the-scenes systems. You will decide what website improvements to work on, keep track of all tasks, coordinate between business and technical teams, and help launch new features. The goal is to make the website easier to use, increase sales, and improve how products are discovered and displayed online.Top 5-7 Skills:Managing a project "to-do list" (backlog) for a website or digital productWriting clear instructions (user stories) for developers to build featuresWorking with website systems like CMS (content), DAM (images/videos), PIM (product details), and analytics (site data)Improving online shopping features (search, filters, product pages, checkout)Bridging the gap between business people (marketing, sales) and technical teams (IT, developers)Testing new website features before they go live (UAT)Tracking website performance (sales, clicks, drop-offs) and using data to make improvementsRequirements for the role:Experience planning website improvements and managing a rolling 12-month roadmapAbility to balance small quick fixes (e.g., fixing a broken button) with larger long-term projects (e.g., adding a product configurator)Experience running agile team meetings (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)Familiar with product data (dimensions, materials, pricing) and online catalogsExperience launching tools like product sampling, trade account pricing, or appointment bookingAbility to create training guides and teach non-technical teams how to use website toolsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, Analytics, or a related field (preferred but not required)4+ years of experience in digital product management, eCommerce product ownership, or delivering digital platform projectsExperience with Adobe digital tools (AEM, Analytics, etc.) is strongly preferredMindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.
