Locum Tenens Opportunity for Hematology Oncologist near West Chester, PA Located near West Chester, PA Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient Description/Other Details: We have an urgent requirement for a Hematology Oncologist near West Chester, PA, starting from 3/30/23. The assignment is expected to span the months of April, May, and June, with the possibility of extension based on demand. We are actively seeking a dedicated professional interested in evening and weekend call responsibilities. Schedule Details: Clinic/Hospital Hours: 8 am - 5 pm Clinic/Hospital Days: Monday - Friday Call Night/Weekend: Yes Number of phone Consults: 0 Call Days: Rotates approximately 3-5 days per month (Inpatient, with all other time dedicated to outpatient) Call Start Time: 4 pm (Fellow takes first call) Call End Time: 8 am (Following day; Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm M-F, with days off after call) Patient Details: Number of patients seen per day in clinic: 15-17 Support Staff: APP, RN, MA Average Number of Admissions per shift: There is a dedicated Inpatient team Age of patients: 18-99 Reason For Need: Multiple open provider positions This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare setting, addressing the needs of a diverse patient population.
