CNC Set-Up/Operator

Sets up machine and observe machine operations to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and calipers. Offset setting and adjustments, optimizing and debugging to achieve quality parts. Operate lathes (Haas/Hardinge/Mazak's) Monitor and inspect parts throughout production to assure conformance to blueprints and quality plans. Detect and correct any non-conforming issues. Communicate any non-conforming issues with Quality Control. Provide aid and guidance to machine operators with less experience. Clean machine and work area. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
