Litigation Associate

We are currently hiring on behalf of a well-established and growing law firm with a team of 60+ experienced attorneys serving corporate clients across multiple specialized practice areas. The firm is known for providing strategic legal services to business leaders and organizations navigating today’s evolving economic landscape.Position OverviewThe firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join its respected litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with motion practice, case strategy, and trial work, while working closely with experienced litigators in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle matters related to civil and commercial litigation.Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis or Westlaw.Support litigation strategy and assist with trial preparation and court proceedings.Manage multiple assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and firm information.Organize workflow effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.Qualifications4+ years of experience practicing law as an attorney.Admission to the New York State Bar is required.Admission in New Jersey is a plus.Experience in civil and commercial litigation required.New York real estate litigation experience is a plus.Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.Proficiency with Lexis, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage priorities and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.Work ScheduleFull-time, Hybrid located in New York City.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $150,000 – $185,000 (based on admission experience)Competitive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePrescription coverage401(k) planOnsite fitness centerPotential commission opportunities
