Field Service Technician - AZ

Job SummaryThe Field Service Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, and conducting start-ups and warranty work on new equipment. This role requires accurate processing of documentation, maintaining parts inventory, and tracking time and expenses daily using a laptop. The technician will communicate repair needs to both customers and the service manager and ensure job sites are cleaned after completing work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and possesses excellent customer relation skills. They should have a mechanical and electrical aptitude, be able to troubleshoot using mechanical drawings and wiring schematics, and have a strong understanding of A/C and D/C electrical systems. A willingness to participate in training programs to further enhance their skills is essential.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerforming preventive maintenance. Diagnosing problems. Performing repairs. Performing start-ups on new equipment. Performing warranty work on new equipment. Processing required documentation in a timely manner using a laptop. Communicating repairs needed to both the customer and service manager. Maintaining accurate parts inventory. Tracking time and expenses each day. Cleaning up job site after completing work. Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsSchedule is Monday to Friday; no weekends In the office at ECS Headquarters Monday and Friday Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
