Dealers throughout the world utilize NPA for acquisition of wholesale vehicles and to ensure their pre-owned inventory meets their customer's demands.Job Description and Requirements for:Service TechnicianSummary of responsibilities:Service Technician: This person is responsible for performing all recommended repairs. This job descriptions can be all inclusive as 1 person's responsibility depending on repair volume. You are responsible for doing this safely and responsibly. You may be required to work overtime.Basic Employee responsibilities:Arrive to work on time per your required work scheduleAlways be courteous and respectful to fellow employees and customersCompany equipment must be used for company purposes onlyCompany vehicles must be operated safely and within their intended purposeDress appropriately to your particular job duties and within the parameters of our current employee manual, (No open toed shoes in warehouse)Always pick up after yourselfKeep your work area neat and cleanAlways ask questions if you are unsureAlways check in and out with your direct supervisors at the beginning and end of your daily shiftJob specific responsibilities:Have a good working knowledge of computersHave a good working knowledge of powersport related vehicles and their mechanical operationReview units for repairs and make recommendations per established Recon PoliciesDiagnose issues and give recommendations per established Recon PoliciesMaintain parts and chemical inventories on requestMaintain part cage organization.Locate and stage units for techs.Locate and stage recalls for local HD dealer to complete.Detail recommendations in service/repair order within AMS established Recon PoliciesYou must be able to maneuver and operate a 2-wheel motorcycle with expertiseYou must be able to lift 75 lbs.You must be able to push a rolling 900lb motorcycle with relative easeMust not be sensitive to chemicals, cleaners and fuel fumesAs a Repair Technician, you must have your own tools, NPA will supply necessary diagnostic and specific electronic tools as needed.Follow vehicle safety protocolsResponsible for all company equipment and tools associated with recon and serviceReport any misuse of company tools and equipmentReport any violations of company and safety guidelines as discussed in annual meetingsChanging battery's as necessaryHelping unload/load vehicles as neededAt National Powersport Auctions (NPA), we are focused on harnessing the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
