This organization specializes in precision metal fabrication, custom manufacturing, and industrial projects across multiple sectors. They are known for quality workmanship, strong project management, and long-term customer relationships.What You’ll Do:Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimatesCalculate material, labor, machining, tooling, and subcontractor costsPrepare and submit accurate, competitive quotesCollaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to verify scope and lead timesCommunicate with vendors to obtain pricing on materials and outside servicesAnalyze project risks, manufacturing feasibility, and production timelinesMaintain estimating records and documentation in internal systemsWhat’s In It for You:Competitive pay up to $35/hr DOEStable, day-shift scheduleOpportunity to work with a respected fabrication and manufacturing teamGrowth potential within estimating and operationsCollaborative and team-oriented environmentWhat You Need to Have:Experience as an Estimator within metal fabrication, machining, or related manufacturing industriesStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsUnderstanding of fabrication processes, materials, and production workflowsStrong math, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)The Musts:Previous estimating experience in metal fabrication or similar industrial environmentAbility to accurately interpret engineering drawings and RFQsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively with internal teams and vendorsPreferred:Experience with ERP/MRP systemsBackground in structural steel, sheet metal, or machining environmentsKnowledge of GD&TExperience sourcing vendor quotes and managing cost breakdownsNext Steps:Please respond with an updated resume!Call Keyshawn or Isabel at 360-553-7221 to schedule an interview or drop by for a walk-in interview!!?
