We are known for engineering excellence, quality, and reliability-and our people are at the core of our success.Position SummaryThe Materials Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting warehouse and production operations by ensuring accurate receiving, handling, packaging, and shipping of materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong system skills, and the ability to safely handle materials in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, verify, and process incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against packing slips and authorizationsPerform system and handheld barcode data entry related to receiving, WIP, cycle counts, and inventory movementPackage and ship materials according to carrier specifications and quality standardsProcess domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and common carriers (including COD and will-call shipments)Handle materials requiring Certificates of Compliance and quality inspectionPull materials for kits, shortages, work orders, and shipmentsCreate and update repair work orders for non-conforming materialPerform daily inventory cycle counts and update material locations in the systemMaintain warehouse equipment (e.g., printers, tape dispensers, forklifts)Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work areaFollow all procedures outlined in Elma's Quality ManualPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of warehouse experience in a production or manufacturing environmentStrong reading, writing, and basic math skillsProficiency with PCs and experience using MS Word, Excel, and inventory/database systemsStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow detailed procedures and recognize deviations from standard practicesForklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)Physical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 70 lbs (approximately 80% of the time)Prolonged standing and walking on concrete floorsFrequent handling, grasping, reaching, and fine motor manipulationWork performed in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levelsMinimal exposure to chemical fumesWhy Join ElmaStable, growing organization in advanced manufacturingCollaborative team environmentOpportunity to work with high-quality products supporting mission-critical industriesCompetitive pay and comprehensive benefitsEEO StatementElma Electronic Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
