Senior DevOps Engineer

e are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience and a strong engineering mindset to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development before transitioning into DevOps, ensuring a deep understanding of both development and operational needs. This is a full-time position with no C2C opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Containerization & Orchestration: Expertise in containerization technologies like Kubernetes (K8S), RedHat OpenShift, and Argo CD for managing containerized applications and services.Pipeline Development: Proven experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions to ensure smooth deployments.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in using tools such as YAML and Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.Automation & Scripting: Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate and streamline operational processes.Cloud Services: In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud (PaaS) and related services to architect scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working closely with development, QA, and operations teams.Agile Release Management: Willingness to support agile release processes, including overnight releases 1-2 times per week depending on the release schedule.Requirements:Development Background: We are specifically seeking candidates who started in software development and transitioned into DevOps. Candidates coming from a sys admin background will not be considered.Containerization Focus: Strong expertise in managing and orchestrating containerized environments.Bonus Skills:Experience with Kafka and mobile app release processes is a plus.
