DutiesOperates print shop and production equipment such as color printers, scanner, duplicator, stapler, folder, cutter, laminator, poster printer.Makes minor adjustments and repairs as necessary, also requests and coordinates service vendor repairs.Produces print and digital materials in a variety of formats such as programs, brochures, flyers, posters, booklets, table tents, etc.Produces, distributes, retrieves and stores a variety of promotional materials, including signage, banners, and display materials.Administratively assists and supports in Marketing/Community Events as directed; answers phones and perform clerical duties. Performs inventory, purchasing, shipping and receiving duties, maintaining a purchase card account.RequirementsConditions of employmentDirect Deposit and Social Security Card is required.Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.A one-year probationary period may be required.Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.Must have a valid state driver's license.Physical examination is required.Printing duties are performed indoors with adequate heat, light, and ventilation.Exposure to skin irritation and fumes from chemical solutions and ink used in press operation, cuts and bruises from operating equipment and handling supplies and finished products, and exposure to loud noises of equipment.Exposure to extreme heat/cold weather during special events.Lifting and handling of heavy materials, lifting up to 40 pounds.QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The FollowingKnowledge of general marketing, advertising and merchandising.Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment required to perform the duties of the position.Ability to use measuring instruments required to perform the duties of the position.Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. to perform the duties of the position.Knowledge of materials common to printing and reproduction trade.Typing skills (40 wpm).In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":Possess experience capturing digital photography and basic video content to document participation, programs, events, and ceremonies for use in marketing, social media, and print or electronic publications.Possess experience creating digital and print marketing materials across multiple platforms.Proficiency in using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs.Possess working knowledge of social media platforms and formatting requirements for digital content.Possess an understanding of basic design principles, including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.Possess experience working with establishing branding guidelines and producing consistent, high-quality content.Possess experience managing multiple projects and meeting production deadlines.EducationThis job does not have an education qualification requirement.Additional informationArea of ConsiderationThis job is open to candidates WORLDWIDE.
