Job Title: Crisis & Incident Management ConsultantLocation: New York, NY 10010Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension/hire)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Resilience consultant to provide targeted, execution-focused support across a visible and high-priority initiative.This role is designed to accelerate delivery against a critical enterprise resilience effort supporting Crisis & Incident Management enhancements.This is not a steady-state program management role. The successful candidate will be expected to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, delivering tangible outcomes within defined timelines.Key Responsibilities:Crisis & Incident Management:Support execution of a structured enterprise Crisis & Incident Management enhancement roadmap across business, technology, and corporate functionsTranslate roadmap milestones into actionable workplans and drive delivery to defined timelines.Ability to shape concepts and effectively incorporate into plans and selected approachesTrack and report progress against defined milestones, identifying risks and delaysCoordinate across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of outputsDevelop and refine key deliverables, including operating models, governance frameworks, and response proceduresSynthesize stakeholder input into clear, actionable documentation and recommendationsSupport preparation of materials for senior leadership updates and decision-making forumsStrong project management skills and ability to partner with senior leaders across business linesAssist in resolving execution challenges and removing blocks across teamsRequired Qualifications:9–10+ years of experience in crisis & incident management with a strong focus on execution and deliveryDemonstrated experience supporting or executing crisis/incident management processes in complex, cross-functional environmentsProven ability to translate strategic roadmaps into executable workplans and drive delivery against defined timelinesStrong experience coordinating across business, technology, and corporate functions to deliver against shared objectivesExperience developing and refining Crisis & Incident Management frameworks, governance structures, and response proceduresAbility to track execution progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve delivery blockersStrong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership and cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including development of executive-level materials and reportingAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with shifting prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting or enhancing enterprise Crisis & Incident Management programs in large, complex organizationsExperience in financial services or other highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with crisis simulation exercises, incident response coordination, or real-event supportExperience working with or aligning resilience frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 22301, FFIEC) in a practical, implementation-focused capacityKey Competencies:Analytical and detail-orientedSolution-focused mindsetStrong stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independentlyComfort working under pressureSUPPLIER NOTES ONLY:Candidate Profile AttributesIdeal Candidate:Has direct, hands-on experience running or supporting crisis/incident management, not just designing frameworksComfortable driving execution across multiple teams under pressureCan take a high-level roadmap and turn it into structured delivery plans and outputsStrong at coordination, escalation, and removing blockers in real timeHas experience producing executive-level updates during active or simulated incidentsStrong BackgroundsEnterprise Crisis / Incident Management teamsOperational Resilience functions with real incident exposureTechnology incident / major incident management (ITSM) with enterprise coordination exposureConsulting roles where they delivered CIM transformations (not just assessed)DisqualifyingOnly experience is writing frameworks, policies, or playbooksPure program/project manager with no crisis/incident exposureNo evidence of working in time-sensitive, high-pressure environmentsCannot clearly explain their role in an actual or simulated incident
