Title: Senior Nuxeo Advisory Consultant Engagement Type: Short-Term Consulting / DiscoveryLocation: Remote Industry: Financial Services preferredStart Timing: Flexible; targeting a client follow-up call within the next 2 weeksEstimated Effort: Approximately 4 to 6 hours for initial discovery Role SummaryWe are seeking a senior-level Nuxeo Subject Matter Expert to support an internal agency engagement assisting a Fortune 500 financial services client. This is a short-term consulting role focused on discovery, assessment, and architectural guidance. The consultant will advise on the design and future-state direction of a Hyland Nuxeo ecosystem capable of ingesting, managing, and securing more than six billion documents. The engagement emphasizes large-scale ECM migration strategy, cloud-native architecture, AI-driven content enrichment, and strong governance within a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise on the design of a scalable and modular Nuxeo architecture supporting high concurrency and multi-billion object repositories.Conduct discovery sessions with client stakeholders to assess current-state systems, usage patterns, and business requirements.Define high-level migration strategies for billions of documents from legacy ECM platforms such as Alfresco or Seymour, with a focus on data integrity and minimal downtime.Provide guidance on leveraging Nuxeo Insight and AI capabilities for metadata extraction, classification, enrichment, and analytics.Advise on workflow design for document lifecycle management, regulatory reporting, and risk management use cases.Architect API-driven Content-as-a-Service integrations with downstream enterprise applications.Ensure architectural recommendations align with enterprise-grade security, encryption, access control, and auditability standards expected in large financial institutions.Required Skills and ExperienceDeep hands-on experience with Nuxeo platform architecture at a senior or SME level.Proven experience delivering or advising on large-scale content migrations, ideally involving hundreds of millions to billions of documents.Experience conducting Nuxeo audits, platform assessments, or discovery and adoption engagements.Strong ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, discovery workshops, and technical assessments.Experience with cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with low-code configuration and AI-based content enrichment, with Nuxeo Insight strongly preferred.Familiarity with Nuxeo underlying technologies such as Java, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and MongoDB is preferred but not required.Banking or other regulated industry experience is preferred, though core Nuxeo expertise is the primary requirement.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
