Warehouse Lead

Warehouse Lead Location: Distribution CenterSchedule: 2nd Shift (1 pm – 10 pm; Monday – Friday)Your Responsibilities Include: Various warehousing tasks to support all sales distribution pointsAssisting with training new Warehouse Associates (conducting process observations, root cause analysis for quality defects, providing feedback coaching, etc.)Unloading freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipmentComparing goods received and packing slips for order accuracy, inspecting for any damage, and notifying your supervisor of any discrepanciesScanning or entering products into the inventory control system or related computer programMaintaining consistent and adequate stock of products on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly conditionUsing manual or motorized equipment to transport inventory between the warehouse and store locationsLeading in scheduled inventory events (physical inventory counts, etc.)Preparing shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locationsAccurately picking items from customers' orders, shipping orders or requisitions, preparing shipments, and loading products onto trucks, trailers, or customer vehiclesOccasionally driving a company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customer or to pick up items from various locationsMaintaining a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safetyHelping with property maintenance (lawn care, snow removal, etc.)Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activityCompleting related tasks as assignedYou'll Need: 2+ years of warehouse operations experienceStrong computer skills and ability to learn new softwareThe willingness and ability to work on powered equipment (forklift, etc.)We'd Love If You Have: Warehouse leadership experiencePrevious forklift experienceExperience managing customer returns with efficient tracking and resolutionFamiliarity with return management systemsCollaboration with internal teams and with external vendors to resolve issuesPhysical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs.Stand on a hard surface for up to 10 hoursFrequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachContinuously climb and descend stairs safely*Employment offers are contingent on a drug screen and background check.Acme Tools is an equal opportunity employer.
