Retirement Plan Specialist

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing environment, working alongside experienced advisors and benefits experts while helping employees build long-term financial security. Position is a detail-oriented Retirement Plan Specialist to manage and support 401(k) and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC/457) plans. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in plan administration, compliance, and employee engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister 401(k) and NQDC plans, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance (ERISA, IRS, DOL)Partner with recordkeepers, third-party administrators, and vendors to support plan operationsManage contributions, distributions, reporting, and participant dataDevelop and deliver employee education and communication on retirement benefitsSupport plan audits and maintain compliance documentationDocument and improve internal processesAssist with retirement plan transitions related to acquisitionsQualifications3–5 years of retirement plan administration experienceStrong knowledge of 401(k) plans; NQDC experience preferredFamiliarity with providers such as Vanguard or Fidelity is a plusDetail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skillsEffective communicator with ability to engage employees and stakeholdersProficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficeBachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Company Description:TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
